My Personal Journey

My personal journey has been long with several paths taken in order to get me where I am today. It has been difficult but I believe it to be part of Divine intervention so that I may share and understand how to show up whole-heartedly, with compassion, and provide a container to embrace you in for healing.

This medicine came to me through my own health issues, starting as a child. I was often sick, in pain, and fatigued, which in turn affected my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state. Several times a month, for nearly two decades, I was in and out of emergency rooms, urgent cares, and conventional medicine offices without answers, typically sent home with some type of medication to hopefully find some relief. I often was told there was nothing else that could be done and often was left without solutions or options to solve the issues until I took it upon myself to start researching other alternative ways of healing through natural medicine.

There is a lot I could say about what makes this a beautiful medicine, why it has changed my life, the changes I have witnessed in other people’s lives, and its value and importance in this world. Some things just need to be experienced to be understood.

Background

As a native Oregonian, I feel blessed to have grown up in the Pacific Northwest and feel it has greatly influenced my connection to myself, nature, and the Divine. Chinese Medicine understands this, and that nothing is separate, we are connected to all natural phenomena, the universe, and the cycles of life. This medicine takes a whole-body approach, the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspect of our beings through different lenses on a macro and microcosmic level.

The depth you choose to heal is up to you. I am here to assist in that process using several types of modalities, perspectives and lenses. Healing is not linear and at times can be uncomfortable. It is a small price to pay to have self-freedom, to emanate love and light, and to live your best life.

Treatment

The root of my practice begins with understanding the body’s own innate ability to heal. My job is to remind the body that it knows how to do that. We come into this world with many layers and patterns that are influenced by our soul’s purpose, the environments we grow up in, and ancestral patterns (epigenetics).

My modalities serve many conditions. My passions lie in helping with:

  • *acute/chronic pain
  • *intuitive counseling
  • *chronic fatigue
  • *workman’s comp
  • general health practices
  • preventive care
  • mental-emotional-anxiety health
  • energy work
  • trauma patterning
  • ancestral-family patterning
  • *digestive disorders
  • *anxiety-mental-emotional health
  • *inner dialogue™
  • *motor vehicle accident (MVA)
  • mindfulness
  • mind-body medicine
  • somatic therapy
  • nutrition
  • functional
  • and environmental therapies

Education Continued

As part of my education, the pictures you see on the website are personal and very meaningful images I took from my trip in 2018 to the Wudang Mountains, one of the “Four Scared Mountains of Daoism” Hubei, China, and one of the oldest Monasteries and important cultivation sites in Daoism. Spending a few weeks in the presence of these 2500+ year old sites, meditating, and learning from Dr. Li Xin, Sylvie Martin and other Masters of Chinese Medicine deepened my already love for this medicine.

Chinese Medicines view of the body, its health and illness, the divine connection between heaven, earth, human, and all things, one must understand the theory of Daoism and that it is rooted in Chinese Medicine
