Serving the Following

Treatments

I am here to assist in your healing journey, using several types of modalities, perspectives and lenses.  Since circulation is one of the most important aspects of health in the body we use other modalities in conjunction with treatments in order to provide a treatment protocol specific for each patient’s needs. Below are some of those modalities:

Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM)

Acupuncture is an effective form of preventive healthcare by promoting a natural healing within the body by using needles and different modalities such as sotai, tuina, tai chi, cupping, gua sha, moxa and herbal medicines.

CCM can affect all aspects of circulation including, the nervous system, blood and qi flow, our internal organs function and flow, improve mental, emotional and physical well-being. Acupuncture can also improve, prevent, diminish, and even rid a wide variety of acute and or chronic health issues.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha-increases surface circulation, it can reduce a fever, change the direction of acute illnesses, and reduce inflammatory symptoms in chronic illness.

Cupping

Cupping-can loosen muscles, create blood flow, sedate the nervous system (great for high blood pressure), relieve back and neck pain, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, great for the lungs (congestion from colds and help with asthma) and much more.

Chinese Herbalism

Chinese Herbalism-is a tradition dating back to the 3 rd century and is still one of the greatest herbal systems being used today. Chinese Herbs are used to treat many conditions such as skin disease, gastro-intestinal disorders, gynecological issues, hepatitis, chronic fatigue, all kinds of respiratory issues, rheumatologically, psychological issues and more. It can be very difficult for conventional medicine to treat chronic and acute forms of these. CCM Herbalism is proven to be effective and will vary on the duration of time needed based on the patients quality and quantity of pain, severity of disease and overall health.

Moxa

Moxa- meaning “burning plant” is derived from the Artemisia Arygyi plant commonly called Mugwort–in CCM it is called Aiye. It is used for warming the body, to bring more qi and blood flow to an area, strengthens the immune system, and is very effective for improving pain in the body. Moxa used with needles enhances the needles effect as well.
